About this herb: A strong antibacterial, cloves have historically been used for toothaches and muscle pain. Spiritually, it is burned as a method of removing the evil eye. It is also often made into pomanders by being placed into oranges as a means of decoration and spiritual protection. Cloves are frequently used in Jewish cooking and are often included in B'samim blends.
